Nowadays we say ‘Trick or Treat?’ as if it’s the most natural phrase in the world. I remember a time when Halloween was a tradition that Americans kept far away across the vast Atlantic Ocean. Now, it feels like we barely leave mushroom season behind before Halloween comes and steps on our heels.
The fact is, Halloween has always been a bit of a favorite holiday for us. It still feels so optional. You decorate if you want to, and dress up if you want to. The only thing that isn’t optional is the candy — at least if you ask my kids.
At Mrs Mighetto, we love masks, costumes, decorations, and above all, simple, beautiful crafts. That’s exactly why we have a small Halloween collection (these Bats for example) with easy crafts and just the right amount of spooky decorations.
Our ‘Paper Friends’ have been awarded as ‘The decoration saviors and the cleverest craft’ in the category of ‘kid-friendly & stylish’ by none other than the grand paper decoration council at the Fantasy Decor Design Awards Halloween Edition, far away in Bahut.
Okay, maybe I made that part up a little. But it could have been true!
What is actually true is that these amazing photos were taken by Anna Kubel & Jasmina Bylund, and together with double chocolate, our Paper Friends Bats play a starring role as the perfect topping. Almost deserving of an award anyway!
