One of our most obvious ladies is Lady Dixie. She was the start for the entire collection. She also became our March lady and front lady on our beautiful art wall calendar.
There is a door
to the other side,
if I dare to enter
can I still remain?
Lady Dolores. She is looking for and needs a safe voice that calms her and gives her confidence and let her know everything will be fine. Who is her voice? Who is yours, and my voice?
Hear your heart,
find your path
along your inner lane
and all shall be found.
That the train might leave the platform, but there will be a new one and on that wagon maybe you were meant to be. That's where it's happening.
Lady Dagmar. When I initially wrote that Dixie was the start for all ‘D Ladies’, I forgot that Dagmar hung on my wall for almost a year. The first time Malin had painted her, I said, “We’re printing her on our office printer. Now.” I went home, framed her and she hang on the wall above my bed. Since then, I have admired her. But since then she has reminded me that everything does not have to happen in the heat of the moment, it can even get better if you have some patience and confident to hold your thought. That the train might leave the platform, but there will be a new one and on that wagon maybe you were meant to be. That’s where it’s happening. Sliding doors etc.
If you desire
please dare
if in hesitation
dare to wait
the perfect moment
may come later.
A total of six new motifs in this collection, all on the letter D, Lady Daphne and Lady D. But, just as in the French grammar, there are exceptions, in our case it is called ‘Not a Lady‘. A motive that was difficult to call either a woman or a proper name.
